The pictures above are just a small sample of what you might see at Florida Flywheelers. An important part of the event, and I have no pictures, are the tractors. In January, their next event, I'll be sure to get some pix of the tractors. As you can see, anything with wheels, a motor and a seat will serve as transportation. And let's not forget about the passengers. From wagons outfitted with recliners to wheelbarrow beds, anything goes for the riders. It's hard to describe the sounds. From putt-putt-putt to rhythmic wheezing and gasping to powerful roars, it's quite the cacophony! And let's not forget the ever present dust and grit blowing around in the breeze. It's not the place for the genteel, that's for sure. And you may think I've saved the best for last; an early version of a riding lawnmower; reel type mower on the front of a bicycle.
